Staff Problem Solving Meeting

Finding ways to create space for everyone’s voice to be heard is as important for adults as it is for students. Staff meetings conducted in a class meeting format provide an excellent forum for authentic discussion and an opportunity to talk about concerns related to the schoolwide community. This template can be modified to address many kinds of problems. Although written for those using CCC’s school climate program (Caring School Community), it can be used in any setting.

Class meeting rules are: Talk one at a time. Listen to one another. Speak respectfully to one another. Welcome differences of opinion. When discussing problems, say “people” instead of using names.
