First Eight Weeks Class Meetings (grades 2–6)
Building relationships and establishing a sense of community in the classroom are essential, so the hard work of learning and real student engagement can take hold. It’s that front-loading that pays dividends for months to come.
There are many ways to establish that community. One way is through class meetings and teambuilders. We offer the following class meetings as a way to establish community in the first eight weeks of school.
