Inside the Collaborative Classroom

Research tells us that adults’ sense of community is just as important as students’ sense of community. Teambuilding activities are useful tools in developing that sense of community. In just a few minutes, staff members get to know or reconnect with one another—essential to building bonds for their ongoing work together. Teambuilders are especially beneficial when new members join the staff, following school vacations, and during periods of stress or crisis in the school.
